This tutorial of creating powerful, highly trafficked websites stems from my struggle and frustration of trial and error, mucking through the internet badlands, and generally, not knowing where the heck to turn when I wanted learn about the internet and how to place my brilliant ideas on it. This tutorial will show you how to create your own unique, valuable website for almost nothing. The only costs involved are for domain registration, hosting, and possibly a book or two. In particular, you will learn the coolest tricks to fire up your website, the fastest ways to eliminate the most common time-wasting development issues, and where to find the best money making resources on the web.

The concepts that are taught range the gamut from beginning HTML to expert Perl, though even the expert stuff is explained in a step-by-step manner that is easy to understand and assimilate.

If you do not already own a domain name I recommend that you first read the chapter on domain registration and get one, because you will need it throughout the remainder of the tutorial (for community builders, signing up for affiliate programs, etc.).
